Newsletter: We have had some problems getting a newsletter published so please bear with us during the transition. We are hoping that this will be resolved very soon.


Seminars: Our Director of Education is creating a whole curriculum of seminars and Hands On Training for the community. You can check out the new classes on the calendar and descriptions of what each class will be presenting in this newsletter.


We are a Southern Arizona pan-sexual, pan-fetish BDSM organization based in Tucson and welcome everyone regardless of orientation, age (18 and above), kink (legal activities involving consenting adults), race, creed, religion, etc.
We would like to invite those who are in the lifestyle, new to the scene, or just curious about BDSM to come to our events, meet us, socialize with us, and learn with us.

We are not a dating service or sex club. We do not find partners for people. We exist to support, educate, and socialize with one another in a safe, sane, and consensual domain.

Our members possess a variety of years of experience, of education in related lifestyle activities, and have widely diverse interests.

Munch
Fee: What you order
We meet at a local restaurant to dine and socialize. This is a public meeting so do not dress in Fetish wear. Anyone 18 (because of discussion topics) and older may attend.

Video Night
Fee: Donation
Held once a month, various movies are shown that have BDSM content. Come and have a relaxing evening munching on popcorn! Anyone 18 or older may attend.

New Member Orientation
Fee: None
These are usually held at 4 pm on the afternoon of Play Party dates. This is a chance to look at the play space, learn more and sign up for memberships. Anyone 18 or older may attend.

BDSM: Kink in a Nutshell [Pre-Party]
Fee: $5 members / $8 non-members
Instructor: Jordan, Director of Education
This discussion group covers the general spectrum of the BDSM play scene, including general areas of interaction and style, safety and health considerations, negotiation, and etiquette in the dungeon setting for those who are new to the BDSM scene and Desert Dominion’s atmosphere. Anyone 18 or old may attend.

Board Meeting
Fee: None
The Board of Directors meet and cover any issues that have come to the boards attention. All members are highly encouraged to attend. No memberships are sold at the Board Meetings. Only members may attend.

Play Parties
Fee: $10.00 per person
Socialize and have fun! Memberships are not sold at parties, but you may renew at the door. Only members and other card-carrying kink members may attend. A current DD membership card or a card from a reciprocal organization, and a picture I.D. is required. There will be no entrance without one. Please bring a share food. Sodas are 50 cents each and water is $1.

Dominant Discussion Group
Fee: Donation
A roundtable of Dominants meets to discuss topics that are on their minds. Attendees gain ideas, insight and support from other Dominants. Talks cover any issues that attendees may have. Some of the previous topics have been: Dealing with insecurities, self esteem, empowerment, play techniques, training submissives, culture etc. Anyone 18 or older may attend.

Submissive Discussion Group
Fee: Donation
A roundtable of submissives meet to discuss topics that are on their minds. Attendees gain ideas, insight and support from other submissives. Talks cover any issues that attendees may have. Some of the previous topics have been: Dealing with insecurities, self esteem, empowerment, play techniques, pleasing dominants, culture etc. Anyone 18 or older may attend.

Kink Discussion Group
Fee: Donation
A roundtable to discuss a wide range of topics. Discussions in the past have included: Transgender, fantasies, divorce, dealing with work issues, society’s preceptions and misconceptions. Anyone 18 or older may attend.

Work Party
Fee: None
Held once a month, to improve the play space. Carpentry, swamp cooler repairs, cleaning and general improvement to the play space. Anyone 18 or older may attend.

Volunteer Only Party
Fee: 10 Hours
A special party to reward those that have volunteered their time and energy to improve our club. Any member who has volunteered for ten hours may attend.

 

HOTS – Tantra Seminar
Instructor: Dr. J has a Masters degree in counseling, trained in China and NY in the Tantric arts and has been a practitioner for twenty-five years
Description: A “playshop” which discusses how communication is the key to intimacy. He will also cover the basics of sexual meditation (Tantra). Tantra sex can help bring ecstasy, sexual health and increased personal intimacy to your relationship. Anyone 18 or older may attend.
Fee: $5 members / $8 non-members

Negotiation: How to Get What You Want
Instructor: Jordan, Director of Education
Description: This two-hour class covers the fine points of revealing your desires in the presence of another and finding out whether the two of you have common ground for future play. We start by identifying what you want and then move to the process of dealing those needs out one at a time with another person until a common area of interest is discovered. This kind of practice is crucial to having a good time in the scene. Bring your fantasies and pen and paper—you’ll be making arrangements with trusted others in short order. Anyone 18 or older may attend.

Intense Sensations and How to Cause Them: SM in the real world
Instructor: Jordan, Director of Education
Description: Both theory and practice, this two hour class on sensation play covers the range of sensations available for safe, sane and consensual exploration, how to find and explore the playground between pleasure and pain, what tools help in the process, and communicating needs and desires within the space created by a caring top and a responsive bottom. Anyone 18 or older may attend.

HOTS- Flogging Techniques (follow-up to Intense Sensations)
Instructor: Jordan, Director of Education
Description: This HOTS covers the use of the flogger to deliver “Intense Sensations”. Anyone 18 or older may attend.
